Peoria Rivermen advance to SPHL President’s Cup Title

PEORIA (WEEK) - The Peoria Rivermen live to see another day. The Rivermen defeating the Quad City Storm in Game Three of their SPHL Playoffs Semifinal series 3-2.

Peoria drew first blood as Marcel Godbout tallied the games first goal in the first period. JM Piotrowski and Jordan Ernst would both also score, Ernst scoring the game-winner in the third period. Goaltender Jack Berry impressed in net, tallying 28 saves on the night.

The Rivermen will face No. 8 Roanoke in the President’s Cup Finals.
