Man arrested for Jan. 20 PNC Bank robbery
PEORIA (25 NEWS) - Peoria Police have arrested a man in connection with the January 20 robbery of PNC Bank.
On Thursday, January 27, Monterius M. Miller, 31, was taken into custody after a traffic stop in the 4700 block of North Sterling Avenue.
He was then arrested for aggravated robbery, according to a police department release.
Miller also has a Peoria County warrant for failing to appear and was also arrested for aggravated fleeing and eluding.
Online court records indicate he is facing charges of aggravated robbery and financial institution robbery.
A $150,000 bond was issued Friday, meaning he’ll need to post $15,000 to leave the jail.
He has a preliminary hearing on February 24 at 9:30 p.m.
