BLOOMINGTON (25 NEWS) - The Bloomington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a criminal damage case.

On Jan. 15, officers responded to the 500 block of North Main Street - near the corner of West Market Street - for a report of damage to a business.

Officers were told a male subject was thrown out of a local business, and police say after his ejection, he caused more than $500 in damage to the outside of the business.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his twenties and say he is approximately five feet, eight inches tall with a medium build and dark hair.

Police say just after his photograph was taken, the suspect put on a dark-colored Chicago Bears jersey (#17).

Police add the subject may have been injured while committing the damage to the business.

Anyone with information on the case or the suspect is asked to contact Officer H. Clark at 309-820-8888 or hclark@cityblm.org.
