Oldest antique show in Illinois is back in Peoria
PEORIA (25 NEWS) - Dozens of people came out to the Peoria Expo Gardens Saturday for the 109th semi annual Peoria Antique Show.
The oldest antique show in Illinois returned for a two day event after cancelling last year’s show.
Visitors got to shop from 35 dealers selling all kinds of elegant art, glasswork, dolls, furniture and more.
Promoter Richard Porte said visitors come from all around the mid-west to shop from some of the top dealers in the country.
“We have customers that come from Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, you name it because they know they’re going to find good merchandise that they cannnot find in shops or in other shows,” Porte said.
Porte said if the antique show it will be back the second weekend of August.
