CHMAPAIGN (25 NEWS) - The Illini had a great atmosphere and a great opponent, just not a great result in Champaign as the Illini fell to No. 11 Arizona 83-79 Saturday.

Only four Illini players got into the points column in the team’s loss. Trent Frazier led the Illini in scoring with 27 points. Alfonso Plummer tallied another 20 point game, he scored 25 Saturday. Jacob Grandison had 14 points. Kofi Cockburn had 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Illini.

The Illini led by four at the half, but Arizona took over the second half, outrebounding and dominating the points in the paint category. Bennedict Mathurin led Arizona in scoring with 30 points.
