PEORIA (25 NEWS) - The death of a two-month-old boy in Peoria is being investigated as a homicide.

Connor Yeo was transported to OSF Friday, November 12, after a call of a two-month-old not breathing.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says Yeo was successfully resuscitated, and aggressively treated for several days at OSF but was unable to recover from his injuries.

He was pronounced deceased Tuesday, November 23 at 11:57 p.m.

An autopsy Wednesday morning shows Yeo suffered severe blunt force head trauma by another.

The case remains under investigation by the Peoria Police Department.

The Peoria Fire Department, AMT and Peoria Police were called at around 8:45 p.m. November 12 to the 5900 block of North Cypress Drive.

Zachary Yeo, 23, was previously arrested and faces charges of aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery.
