SPEER (25 NEWS) - Families got into the holiday spirit early this year at Tanner’s Orchard’s 2nd annual Breakfast With Santa Saturday.

Visitors enjoyed a full breakfast, craft stations for the kids, and most importantly - a special visit from Kris Kringle and Mrs. Claus.

Event organizer Jill Tanner said it was a great way to build the community and give thanks for the little things.

“Especially in COVID times, everybody I feel like is getting into the Christmas spirit a little earlier this year. And this is just our way of getting ready for that season and getting everyone ready for the Christmas season. Spending time with family and realizing what really counts around the holidays,” Tanner said.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus were happy to partake, and said there is a special connection between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

“Thanksgiving is a part of getting ourselves prepared for Christmas... Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!” Mrs. Claus said.
