CENTRAL ILLINOIS (25 NEWS) - Three area teams saw their state title hopes disappear Saturday in the semifinals.

“They didn’t quit on us today,” Josh Roop, Tri-Valley head coach, said. “I’m really, really proud of them and I’m really thankful for what they did for our program this year. these seniors left a legacy.”

“Obviously I’m sad but, I think I’ll miss most just some of the memories you make with the guys out here on Friday nights,” Andrew Petrilli, Tri-Valley senior quarterback, said. “I mean, it’s been the best four years of my life so.”
