PEORIA (25 NEWS) - It’s a mild start across central Illinois, with temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. A passing cold front will result in a falling temperature trend today, so expected temperatures in the low 50s by lunchtime and in the upper 40s by the evening commute. The cold front will also bring scattered showers through the morning and into the start of the afternoon. Showers may linger into the evening for those living closer to I-55.
