My dad is a farmer, and he is very busy working in the fields (especially in the spring and fall). Even though he woks extremely hard, he still finds time to be with the family. My dad made sure he found time to come to my track meets in the spring, even though there was much work he could have been doing in the field. He also spends time with each of my 3 brothers with whatever they enjoy doing, such as fixing up old tractors. Also, on Sundays we either go on walks through the park or ride our bikes into town, and we enjoy hiking in the Rocky Mountains. When we come across any scary, rocky ledges hiking on the trails, my dad is there for me to help me across. Overall, my dad is very encouraging and clearly shows me that he believes in anything I set out to accomplish. Therefore, my dad is very deserving, and I can't wait until the weather allows him to get back in his fields to finish planting beans; then my dad will be able to spend even more time enjoying fun activities with our family. My dad believes family is very important, and that makes him "outstanding in his field" as a father!
