I am very fortunate that I have a nice mom. She is a good mom, and people have always compared us to each other. We are about the same size, have the same mannerisms, and we even have the same giggle. However, it's one thing to 'be like mom'., and it's quite another thing to take after her in everything she does. You see, my mom is a 13 year breast cancer survivor. She was awesome in her fight. She went through surgery, radiation, and follow ups like a champ. We were very proud of her positive attitude. That's why we 'walk' the race. Then, 8 years later, I found myself fighting the same battle. I believe that the example my mom set for me is what brought me through this agonizing experience. She gave me hope, and the inspiration I needed to get through the day. I also have to give a huge praise to my caregiver, my husband, who was just as awesome. Today, my mom and I both cancer free and share a healthy outlook. So, you can say I'm 'just like my mom, in more ways than one!!

I'm so proud of both of you! I love you guys!

Boy, am I lucky to be like MY mom and MY grandma. You guys are very inspiring, and so darn cute! Your grandchildren and great grandchildren are blessed to have you as role models.

Way to go...you're an inspiration to all who know and love you. I'm very proud of you both.

I agree with everything that she said about her mom. I know because she' my mom too. They have both been inspiring to me in their battle. I love you mom and Robin and I know I'll be safe in your love and courage, should I ever need to wear the "pink"

Way to go, Robin. You and your mom are just awesome!! I will never get tired of you in pink. hugs and love, ch

These two AWESOME gals are close friends of mine who have shown me their STRONG determination to deal-with and recover-from Cancer and to GO-FORTH. Then they STRENGTHENED ME to deal with MY husband's Cancer. We've all won this battle TOGETHER.
