Custom automobiles are seldom finished, and this one is no exception. This hot rod started as a 1931 Ford that was discarded in a ravine long ago, and left there for several decades. Only the rusty body remains, and everything else has been owner fabricated with a focus on strength, safety, and reliability. This hot rod was built in a vintage style, using pre-1964 components almost exclusively. Many of the parts have a personal significance as well. For example, the engine is from my first car, the wheels are off my father's old pickup, and the dash is from my late grandfather's 1955 Mercury. As I mentioned at the beginning, this car isn't done, but will be finished with paint, windows, and a full interior. I plan on putting as many miles on the car as possible.
