Owner/Designer Sammie Hoskins. Location Peoria, IL. We began building the Riviera approx. a year and a half ago at Farmington Road Autobody in Peoria, IL. Modifications included a full restoration. The engine compartment was modified to accommodate a 454 Big block GM engine with a 400 auto trans and a Griffin Radiator. A 4 way disk brake system was installed on all four corners. Flow Master exhaust mufflers were tucked under the rear fenders and the tail pipes are routed through the frame. Allot of body modifications were done to the engine hood, fenders, doors and trunk. All entry locks were shaved and some moldings were removed. Billet Specialties High Boy 18" Wheels were mounted in the front and 20" wheels were mounted in the rear. The wheels are wrapped in Falken Tires. The stock interior was removed and fitted with seating from a 1999 Monte Carlo SS. The seats and interior are fabricated and built by Jerry Kensingger from A-1 Auto Upholstery in Bartonvile, IL. Thanks to Tony Bicknell from Air Ride Technologies, the Riviera was fitted with all Air Ride Technologies products. We used the Shockwaves in the front and the Cool-Ride Kit in the rear and the Ride Pro compressor kit.
