The Peoria Jr Rivermen Mite AA hockey team recently won the Silver division of the Northern Illinois Hockey League-NIHL.The team consist of 12 players from the Peoria area ages 6-8 yrs old.These kids have spent countless hours on the ice beginning in late August and won the championship this past weekend by beating some of the best teams from the Chicagoland area. CONGRATS team on a great tournament and season!
