UPDATE: Peoria man recovering after overnight shooting, injuries non-life-threatening

We're learning more about a Tuesday night shooting in Peoria. A spokesperson with Peoria Police said the Shot Spotter alert came in around 10:45 PM for eleven rounds near Sheridan and McClure.

Right after that, police said a woman called about her vehicle being shot at the same intersection.

We've learned the victim the officer's found is a 31-year-old man and his injuries aren't life threatening. Right now, police said they have no suspect information or arrests, and the motive is unknown. 


The wave of violence in Peoria continues, as another person is injured as the result of gunfire.

The latest shooting happened around 10:45 PM Tuesday night near the intersection of McClure and Sheridan in Peoria.

Peoria Police tell 25 News when officers arrived, they found a male with a gunshot wound.

It is unclear where he was shot, but the victim was conscious and talking to officers at the scene.

His condition and identity are unknown.

No arrests have been made.
