UPDATE:Victim names released; young boy stable

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WEEK) -- -

UPDATE: A 4-year-old-boy has been life-flighted to a Peoria area hospital after a shooting in Bloomington. He was originally sent to a hospital near the scene in Bloomington. Police now say he is in stable condition. 

McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis identified the three victims as Corey D. Jackson, age 22, of Bloomington, Nathaniel A. Pena, age 22, of Bloomington, and Juan C. Perez-Macedo, age 33, of Bloomington.  A motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.

The Bloomington Police Department is blocking off Riley Drive after three men were killed in a shooting. 

Bloomington Police Public Information Officer Elias Mendiola confirmed three people were shot dead and another person was taken to a hospital with wounds. Mendiola said the scene was "chaotic" when police first arrived around 2 p.m. 

Police do not believe there is any further risk to public safety at this time. There is no information on potential suspects. Mendiola said the situation is "fluid." 

The police department is establishing a perimeter around the area. All traffic is being rerouted until further notice. Avoid the area.
