The 47th annual Steamboat Days Festival has come to a close. With the estimated attendance being over 30,000 people, and so many things to do it might be easy to forget these dangerous temperatures.
Remaining hydrated during extreme heat is important. With the hot weather, festival organizers took the proper step to ensure the safety of guests.
"Their doing physical things and they need to just be aware that they could get dehydrated. If they notice themselves becoming light headed, if they start to get dizzy, if they feel body aches then they probably need to start drinking a lot more water.", said Josh Bradshaw, Community Resource Manager
There will be another music festival in July, and temperatures will likely be high then as well. Make sure to stay hydrated and safe.
