On Saturday Caterpillar used a portion of Main Street to give residents a blast from the past. Members of the Antique Caterpillar Machine Owners Club gathered to share their aged machinery. These machines have made it well past the 50 year mark. Most belong to people who live out of state, but they have come back to Peoria for the weekend to bring the machines back home. "Last year was its first year back to Peoria where it was made. Because it was made across the river in 1932.", said Tim Metternick, a member of the Antique Caterpillar Machine Owners Club. Although the antique show has ended, you can see antique machinery inside of the Caterpillar visitor center until Wednesday.
