A federal judge has approved he $85 billion deal between AT&T and Time Warner.
Clearing the path for one of the largest pay TV providers to own cable channels such as HBO, CNN and film studio Warner Brothers.
The Department of Justice sued to block the deal saying prices could jump for consumers and decrease competition. But the now mega company says prices will go down, and if they do go up, it will be by cents.
The mega merger now opens the door for other large deals like CVS and Aetna, along with Disney and 21st Century Fox.
Comcast is also looking to make a formal offer for fox as well.
