How far are you willing to go to raise money for a good cause?
Maybe facing fears, like walking off the edge of a perfectly good building.
Dozens of brave souls took a dip to repel over the edge of Peoria's Chase building for the Peoria Friendship House.
Why rappelling? Well, Friendship House wanted their fundraising efforts to stand out.
"It's very exhilarating. It's something different. It's fun to watch and then after you watch a little bit you are like, 'I think I can do this. It's really fun," said volunteer Denise Jacobus.
Peoria Friendship House has been helping alleviate poverty in our community for years...They offer many different programs for those in need and their goal is to bring awareness and offer resources about issues surrounding poverty.
