Tuesday, June 5 members of the Bloomington Vice unit and Street crimes unit concluded a drug investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics.
Shelia Benson, age 57, was arrested as a result of the investigation for manufacture and delivery of other narcotic schedule III near a school/housing/park.
The Bloomington Police Departments Vice Unit and Street Crimes conducted a stop near the 1000 block of South Morris Avenue. The police recovered 106 Hydrocodone pills, approximate street value of 900 dollars), 18 Tramadol pills (approximate street value of 90 dollars) and enough evidence for drug distribution.
Benson has been transported to the McLean county Jail.
