A Pontiac man is facing felony charges after he allegedly made methamphetamine near kids.
Brandon E. Aquisto was arrested at 838 S. Locust in Pontiac around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday for aggravated participation in methamphetamine manufacturing, meth-related child endangerment, possession of meth-making materials, and delivery of a controlled substance.
The Livingston County Sheriff's Office said three bottles of chemicals used in "one pot" meth production were found, along with evidence of meth precursors. Two small children lived in the house above the suspected meth lab, police said.
Authorities involved included the Livingston County Proactive Unit, Dwight Narcotics Unit, Illinois State Police Meth Response Team, Pontiac Tactical Response Team, Livingston County Patrol, Pontiac Patrol, and Livingston County State's Attorney's Office.
