A memorial for the unborn is why many gathered bright and early at Saint Mary's Cemetery Saturday. A right to life group and Knights of Columbus organized the memorial. A priest gave a speech and the crowd sang songs, like amazing grace, and placed flowers on a monument.
"This is really sort of a day of mourning and we want to remember the many unborn children who have lost their lives," said Dan Bohan with Knights of Columbus.
Organizers said they especially want to remember those who have been aborted. They do this event once a year.
