A man suffered what is believed to be a non life-threatening injury after a shooting incident in Bloomington late Wednesday.
Police responded to the 2100 block of Rainbow Ave. just after 9:30 p.m. on a report of shots fired. A witness in the area said two men with handguns were in the area. After hearing yelling, the witness said gunshots were heard and the two men ran west.
Shortly afterwards, a 26-year-old man was reported with a gunshot wound to the leg. The man was taken to a nearby hospital.
A handgun and several shell casings were found by officers canvassing the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
