Two local colleges will hold gun violence protests on Thursday.

First, some Bradley students, parents, school administrators, and teachers will walk out of class Thursday, to protest the more than 200 school shootings since Sandy Hook in 2012.

It is part of the nationwide walkout, that is scheduled to take place next week.

However, Thursday is the last day Bradley will be in class before Spring Break.

Thursday's walkout begins at 10 AM, and will last 17 minutes.

Over at Illinois Wesleyan, students will hold a die-in at 12:30 PM Thursday.

It will take place at "The Dugout" on East University, and last for about 10 minutes.

There, students will hold papers holding gun violence statistics, and information on how to contact their lawmakers.
