HENNEPIN, Ill. (WEEK) -- -

A Putnam County man has pleaded not guilty to charges of concealing a 16-year-old Spring Valley girl's homicidal death.

Diamond Bradley's body was found in a ditch in rural Putnam County in late January after she was reported missing several days earlier. Bradley died of multiple stab wounds.

Richard Henderson, 26, of Standard, was later arrested by Putnam County authorities. Law enforcement officials said Henderson picked up Bradley near her Spring Valley home and drove her directly to the rural ditch on the side of the road where her body was later discovered. Authorities said Henderson allegedly killed Bradley after a "physical altercation."

Henderson faces one count of concealing a homicidal death. In February, the Putnam County Sheriff said more charges against Henderson are likely.

Henderson will return to court March 15 for a status hearing.
