East Peoria's J.K. Williams Distilling is going out of business after more than four years.
In a Facebook post, the business said it will be closing its doors for good in the coming weeks.
"It has been a tough decision, but we decided to close the family business so that we can focus more time and energy on our growing families. We have poured our passion into our handcrafted whiskey for the past 4 years, and we are proud of our family's accomplishments," said the post.
The distillery produced several whiskeys and bourbons. A definitive end date for the family-run business was not mentioned in the post.
