Spring Valley teenage girl died of multiple stab wounds: sheriff

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office said a Spring Valley teenager whose body was found in a ditch over the weekend died of multiple stab wounds. 

Diamond Bradley, 16, was reported missing on Jan. 24. Her body was found four days later in a ditch off of 850 North Road in rural Putnam County, south of Standard.

Authorities are investigating Bradley's death as a homicide. A forensic pathologist and the Putnam County Death Investigator confirmed Bradley died due to stab wounds on Friday. 

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is also asking anyone in the area of the Casey's General Store or Shell gas station in Spring Valley on Jan. 24 between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. to contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office or Spring Valley Police Department. Authorities say Diamond may have been seen in that area. 

The sheriff's office said multiple people have been interviewed and numerous tips have been reported.
