We've bumped up snowfall totals a bit for Sunday into Monday after looking at updated numbers today.
We also have a Winter Weather Advisory in effect through Noon Monday because of those slightly higher accumulations.
Snow showers will accumulate as we continue throughout the evening into the overnight hours and Monday morning.
Total accumulations look to be near 2 to 3 inches for areas along the I-74 corridor (including Peoria and Bloomington). Spots further north (such as Ottawa and Pontiac) will likely experience a bit more. Meanwhile areas to the south (like Havana and Springfield) will likely be closer to the 1 to 2 inch range.
Snow will end by about mid morning, but winds will be picking up. This could cause blowing snow Monday. Use caution on roadways.
Monday's windy conditions will also combine with dropping temperatures throughout Monday to set up for a bitterly cold evening and overnight. For that reason a Wind Chill Advisory will run from Monday evening through Tuesday at noon.
