Bradley University has added more "all gender" bathrooms to campus.
A school spokesperson says the university started adding these specially designated single-stall bathrooms to residence halls over the summer.
Within the past few weeks, they've expanded to other parts of campus. In all, there are 30 all gender restrooms at Bradley now thanks in part to a student-led initiative.
“The main goal from this is to really ensure that all our students are safe. We have a very diverse community and we want to amke sure they're safe, comfortable, and respected,” said Bradley spokeswoman Renee Charles.
Charles added that the response from students has been positive so far.
The campus still has multi-stall men's and women's bathrooms available.
