Ever checked out a "First Friday" in Peoria? After seeing this video, you'll want to!

A break in the weather drew some crowds to area artists' studios tonight as part of another First Friday here in Central Illinois.

First Friday is a national movement among artists in many cities across the United States. It's held on the first Friday of each month, hence the name, April through November. It gives artists a chance to open their studios to present their work to the public. That included Jeremie Draper who owns a glass blowing studio on Sheridan Road in Peoria and has been taking part in the monthly event for the past four years.

 "And we offer live, narrated, glass blowing demonstrations. There are three gaffers, three artists that will assist and blow glass, we all have degrees in glass," she explains.

First Friday participants are scattered throughout Peoria and other local communities. Often times they'll have complimentary wine and appetizers and live musical entertainment. For more on First Friday and a list of participating artists:
