Former CNN broadcaster Larry King is making a big donation to Bradley University.
King is giving $1 million to start a scholarship for underrepresented students majoring in communications. He will be on campus for the annual Charlie Steiner Symposium on Nov. 7.
"Mr. King’s gift provides an important financial resource for underrepresented students and it secures the department’s ability to continue offering innovative and inclusive educational opportunities," said Bradley Chairman for the Department of Communication Tony Adams.
King was awarded an honorary degree from Bradley in 2009.
