A Chicago man is convicted of aggravated battery in connection with a 2016 shooting at a south side Peoria nightclub. As part of a plea deal, 37-year-old Ezyekeio Sidney pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of aggravated battery. Attempted first degree murder charges, and another aggravated battery charge were dropped. Sidney was accused of opening fire at Kareena's on Southwest Adams in September 2016. He faces up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced in December.
