Cause of death, identity revealed for man whose body was found on Constitution Trail

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- -
The McLean County Coroner has determined a man whose body was found Wednesday near a bridge on Constitution Trail died from drowning.
The victim has been identified as Marcus Bivens, 33, of Bloomington. The coroner's statement says preliminary autopsy findings show there were no signs of "assault, strangulation, infection, recent significant trauma or tumor."
Police are asking anyone who has traveled near the area of 300 block of South Veteran's Parkway or used Constitution Trail within the past several days to contact Detective Brad Park at (309) 454-9527, or anonymously to McLean County Crime Stoppers at 309-828-1111.
There is a $1,000 reward being offered for information leading to an arrest or indictment.
