7:45pm UPDATE: Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood released an autopsy report, finding that Eric Brownlee suffered one gunshot wound to the neck that lead to his death. Harwood said there was no evidence of any so-called "close range contact."
The report states that the weapon caliber is unknown, and it is unknown if Peoria Police have any suspects identified or in custody.
A string of shootings overnight in Peoria leave three injured and a fourth dead, raising the total number of homicides in the River City to eight this year.
All three shootings happened in the East Bluff neighborhood.
The death was the last shooting to occur, at around 10:23 Friday night.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood identified the victim as Eric Brownlee of Peoria.
The police report says there was a party happening at the home where the shooting took place, at 134 Northeast Rock Island Avenue.
It is not yet known how many times Brownlee was shot, or what lead to the shooting.
Toxicology results are pending, and an autopsy was scheduled for Saturday morning.
The other two shootings happened at 5:00 in the afternoon and 10:19 in the evening.
The first was in the 2100 block of North Wisconsin Avenue. An adult male was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The second, in the 500 block of Gift Ave., involved two victims, one adult man and another 16 year old male. Both were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigation into all three shootings is ongoing. At this time, police aren't sure if any of the three shootings are related.
