The familiar hustle and bustle of move-in day is just 48 hours away for Bradley University.

More than twelve hundred fifty students are expected to arrive between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 and there will be traffic to prove it.

Already student athletes, fraternities, sororities and members of several campus organizations can be seen milling around, preparing to help the incoming batch.

Bradley U spokesperson Renee Charles outlined the busiest streets for incoming families to watch out for, but assured folks that the school has the busy weekend down to a science.

Here's what you need to know in order to navigate the day successfully.

- Most traffic will be backed up along University coming up to Main Street.

- Police and other city officials will be helping to direct traffic and answer questions

- Members of Bradley student body (listed above) will be helping to physically move items from vehicles and into the dormitories.

- Parents and new students will not have to look for any attendants. The minute a car pulls up to a dorm, they will be greeted by someone ready to assist them.

The traffic will continue after Move-In day as the weekend converges to Welcome Week, an 8-Day stretch of activities and events around the university to help students settle into campus life.
