Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the August 8 robbery of a Casey's store in Normal.
Police said a man entered the Casey's at 1301 S. Main just before 10 p.m., reached over the counter, opened the cash register drawer and took money out. He was seen fleeing on foot.
Detectives arrested Willis Liverman, 21, of Normal, in connection with the crime after searching his house in the 400 block of W. Vernon. Liverman is charged with burglary and theft with a prior conviction. He is at the McLean County Jail pending a further review of his case by the state's attorney.
