Gas prices continue to go up across Central Illinois. Gas buddy.com reports that prices went up about a cent to $2.28 a gallon. Prices are about 20 cents higher than they were a year ago, and nine cents higher than a month ago. Experts say expect prices to go higher, as it catches up to oil prices, and concern over Venezuela lingers. However, prices will stay in the $2.12 to $2.42 price range. The national average is $2.33 a gallon.
