PEKIN, Ill. (HOI) -- -

The Tazewell County Coroner's Office said it hopes to have DNA results back on the human remains found in rural Pekin by Wednesday.

Bones were found by a man mowing his lawn at a house on Illinois Route 29 last Monday afternoon. Officials say the remains are believed to be those of missing teenager Robert Bee Jr. of Pekin, but an official identification is pending DNA testing results.

The teenager went missing in November 2016 after running away from a truancy officer. His cause of death isn't yet known.
