The dangerous heat and humidity aren't the only weather problems we're facing. A large cluster of showers and thunderstorms is expected to develop later this evening and push southeast through the area. Damaging winds and torrential rain are the main concerns but large hail and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. The time frame will be from 9 PM to 2 AM. Areas along and north of a line from Galesburg through Dunlap, Eureka and Lexington are in an "Enhanced Risk" which means a better chance of severe weather. The Weather First weather team will be here to keep you updated on the air, on-line and on our weather app.
