Michigan man arrested in connection with deli robbery; another suspect sought

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WEEK) -- -

Bloomington police have arrested a Michigan man and are still seeking another suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a deli on Friday.

Police responded to Schlotsky's Deli on IAA Drive just after 9:30 p.m. Friday. Two suspects entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money from an employee. Police said the employee was beaten before the robbers took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot. 

Police arriving on scene found an employee wrestling one of the suspects near the intersection of IAA and Rowe Drive. Jalun Caddell, 19, of Ypsilanti, Mich. was arrested for armed robbery after he was taken to a local hospital and released. The knife was found nearby. 

Police are still looking for a second suspect. He is described as a black man between age 25 and 30. The investigation is ongoing.
