Illinois has the lowest credit rating for any state in the history of the U.S.
Democratic candidate for governor, J.B. Pritzker was in central Illinois today as part of his "damage is done" tour.
He joined Tazewell County folks who run after school programs for kids: actives and meals.
Although, Illinois doesn't fund these agencies any more.
"kids are graduating from high school and are choosing to leave our state because they cant get maps grants, because the faculty at the university they want to go to are leaving, because the programs they want to join are leaving, because were not stepping up and helping parents pay for college education," says J.B. Pritzker.
He went on to say lack of vocational training for jobs is pushing people out of Illinois.
