After 42 years, the Conklin Players Troupe is getting ready for the curtain call later this year.
"A Grand Old Country Tribute" will be performed four times in the Caterpillar Performing Arts Theatre at Five Points Washington from July 13 to July 16. Evening performance will start at 7 p.m. The Sunday show kicks off at 3 p.m.
The troupe has performed at Five Points Washington since severe weather damage forced the permanent closure of its Barn II Theatre in Goodfield in 2015. Conklin's said it can't afford to put on shows any longer due to its continuing legal battle with its insurance company over its damage claim.
The show features country's greatest hits, with actors playing Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson and other stars.
The Conklin Players are set to to put on the gospel show "Smoke on the Mountain" from Sept. 22-24 and "A Gift of Christmas" from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 before wrapping up their Five Points run.
