A Mapleton woman whose been missing since early June has been identified as the person found dead Saturday afternoon in Peoria.

The coroner says 31-year-old Kendra Sprague was discovered in the 26 hundred block of NE Adams Street around 1:45.

She was identified by her ID found at the scene and by piercings and body markings her mother had described.

Sprague was last seen by her mom on June 3rd.

Peoria Police asked for the public's help in finding her.

The coroner reiterated that foul play is not suspected, but added an autopsy done Saturday revealed few details about a cause of death.

Based on the time she went missing, the coroner estimates she may have been there for three to four weeks.

Toxicology results are pending.
