Tazewell County teen pleads guilty to burglary charges

A Delavan man, who committed a string of burglaries and car thefts in Morton and Minier, is sentenced to five years in prison.

The Journal Star reports 18-year-old Logan Darling pled guilty Monday to four of the burglaries, which took place in Morton in February.

Darling, and a 16-year-old, were arrested hours later in Minier.

In all, 35 vehicles were broken into.

Two of them were stolen.

A garage was also burglarized.

The 16-year-old was referred to the Tazewell County juvenile court.
