WASHINGTON, D.C. (HOI) -- -

Lawmakers from Central Illinois on both sides of the aisle were among those in attendance at last night's bipartisan congressional baseball game in the wake of Wednesday's shooting.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, Capitol Police officers and others were among those shot by a Belleville, Ill. man believed to be targeting Republicans at a practice match. Area Representatives Rodney Davis and Darin LaHood played for the GOP on the team. Democratic Rep. Cheri Bustos plays for the congressional women's softball team.
