The Crittenton Centers plans to reach out to more families with a brand, new location downtown.
The Family Advocacy Center provides family services to those who are involved in the child welfare center.
The organization is now sharing a space in the same building as the South Side Office of Concern. But with this new space, the issues with state funding are still a burden.
"The biggest way it is affecting is the slow to no pay, creating problems with cash flow which gets in the way of normal operations. But as a board and organization, we have been committed to making sure that our mission is carried forward," said president/ CEO, Jeff Gress.
Gress also mentions, the program is now accepting referrals for new clients. For more information, call 309-222-2577
