Day 713 of the state of Illinois budget crisis, and lawmakers are due back in Springfield Wednesday to continue negotiations.
Lawmakers have until midnight June 30th to come up with a budget, or Illinois will enter its third year without one.
During a speech on Tuesday, Democratic state Senate President John Cullerton once again placed blame on Governor Bruce Rauner, saying that the state senate did its job in passing a budget...one that the governor had proposed.
He added that it is now up to the house, and Governor Rauner to pass it.
Illinois has been without a budget since July of 2015, and is $15 billion late on its bills.
