A lifetime of being fascinated by the weather has led me to the Heart of Illinois as the Chief Meteorologist for HOI News. As a kid growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I experienced many different kinds of weather. However, it was actually a fear of thunderstorms that grew my interest in weather. Years later, that fear would turn into a passion and a career, as I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Meteorology.
I am a big foodie, and while I try to be healthy most of the time, the thought of a juicy bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries is just too good to pass up sometimes. My passion for weather might be matched by the love of my sports, and I support my PSU Nittany Lions and Philadelphia teams.
After growing up in Pennsylvania and making stops in West Virginia and Tennessee, I am now happy to call the Heart of Illinois home. I am looking forward to interacting with you on Facebook and Twitter, so follow me there for the latest weather updates, and of course some fun as well. You can catch my forecasts on HOI News weeknights at 5:30 and 10 PM, I'll see you then!
