PEORIA, Ill (HOI) -- -

One woman says she's blessed and lucky to be alive after a man walked up to her house and shot at it 18 times.

Police were called to the 24 hundred block of Proctor Street shortly before 10:30 Friday morning.

No one was hurt, but two bullet holes were found in the couch where the homeowner was.

Almost a dozen bullet holes could be seen on the outside of the house.

"I want to get the hell up out of here that's what's going through my mind. I have grandkids that live here, what if they were home from school today? It could be either me or them and I want this person who did this," said Carliss Norris, Homeowner.

Manual High School was put on lockdown while police investigated.
